Instructions

Press the green flag next to the stop sign and listen to our very own coding of Jingle Bells. The ornaments will flash rainbow, the stars will shoot out rays, the background will change from day to night, and the snowman will move his arms to the beat.

Description

Roles and Responsibilities: Ryan edited and corrected the music Olivia drew and named all the sprites as well as typed the instructions, notes, and credits. Justin did most of the animations Explanation on Sprites Created: They were all hand drawn by Olivia, and Justin created some of the animations to make them move. They were drawn by using the circle feature, the drawing tool, and the fill feature or the bucket to color them in. Backdrops: The backdrops were created by the fill tool to make it appear like it is nighttime and daytime. Explanation on how Project was Developed/Animation: To develop this project we used the forever and repeat blocks to make a sprite continue to do an action. We also used the hat block "when flag clicked" to start off every script so each sprite played at the same time. Another block we used a majority of the time was "next costume" to make it look different and have a popping out effect. My group and I also used the change color effect by 25 and the wait block to have an effect on the script. Explanation of Music Selection: We chose the song Jingle Bells because it was an easy song to code and were in the season of Winter. Ryan completed the music part of the project.
