MONSTER FACIAL EXPRESSIONS I'm not a designer, not a game creator, not a pen project creator, and not an animator. I like to look for all sorts of things I can do on Scratch. Because I find animations interesting, I decided to focus on something related - dividing one 'costume' into several parts so they are independent of each other and can be moved through scripts rather than costume animation. So I took a simple Monster I created a divided into several parts - eyes, pupils, ears, a mouth, and the face itself. I coded each part to move around with only one costume. After creating this project, I reflected. I believe that separating an object into several parts is helpful when they need to act almost completely independent of each other - this way, to make an eye move from left to right, you only need one costume.
