The much anticipated fourth installment of DIY's number 1 hit videogame series, "Harry Potter" is finally out! With over a year of hard work and intense testing, "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - The Video Game" sets new standards on Scratch. The coding and toggle sequences are absolutely stellar and the new engine provides a much more interactive environment to play with. From puzzles to scrollers, from duelling with Fred and George to duelling with Voldemort and his fellow Death Eaters, this game promises to be the best game in the "Harry Potter" franchise yet! -------------------- GAMEPLAY: While playing the game, you will come across quite a few puzzles. With the help of Ron, Hermione, and even Dobby, battle your way through Hogwarts by finishing all tasks given. Attend DADA and Transfiguration classes with Professor Moody and McGonagall. Learn how to cast different spells as the game progresses using the new spell casting technique and of course bring glory to Hogwarts by winning the Tri-Wizard Cup! -------------------- CONTROLS: Up arrow - Move up Down arrow - Move down Right arrow - Move right Left arrow - Move left Z - Toggle* A - Accio* Click on objects to pick them up. Controls with an asterisk (*) indicate that they are only functional in certain scenes. Press SPACE to jump on ledges and various platforms. Female characters (i.e. Hermione) can jump higher than male characters (i.e. Harry & Ron). -------------------- NOTE: This game is best understood by people who have read the "Harry Potter" books. However, if you haven't, there is no harm in playing it. There may be a few glitches while playing but that is completely normal since this is a monstrous project. Furthermore, the subtitles could be incomplete in some parts of the game because I programmed these scenes on Scratch 1.3. I shall be fixing these in the future. Please excuse the graphics as I had to compress them to low quality in order to upload this project on the Scratch website. "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - The Video Game" is scheduled to be released in one to one-and-a-half year's time.
