a photoshopped cover for a story i want to write how i made it: -edited background off of cart -edited background off of cloak -puppet warped cloak so it looked like it was sitting on the cart -made pattern out of gravel texture -painted gravel on bottom of cover with said pattern -color matched trees to an afternoon picture to give it a spoopy feel -stretched trees to fit cover size -edited background off horse -posterized horse to 2 colors -split horse to 2 layers -color overlayed white to really dark grey -merged layers -set blend mode to screen -added "Death the Cartman" and "By Riley Gunner"
i havent actualy written the story yet, but its basically just a short story told from the point of view of Death (I like humanizing immortal beings; Satan in Lord of Hell, Cthulhu and Godzilla in A Loose Freight Train in Space, Cthulhu in Wonder, Xolotl, Cthulhu (i have a problem), Pele, Osiris, and Anubis in Allergreen, and so on). basically, his job is to drive this cart around, hauling souls away. the story is him dong that, and observing people-- people getting murdered, being betrayed, and, on the less extreme side, everyday life. its kinda depressing but its just an examination of how weird we are, yknow?
