heyo! so i downloaded krita because i was having some artblock and needed something new (plus i felt the need to distract myself from school as usual) and booooooiiii this art program is creepin' juniper amazing. it's free and man i can hardly believe it is! it has so many beautiful brushes... so many... and the blending capabilities... just... man i don't know what i was doing with firealpaca all this time. don't get me wrong, firealpaca is great, but krita has truly stolen my heart. i personally love blending things and i've wanted to get into a more painterly style with my digital art and firealpaca just hasn't done that for me. but krita looks very well suited to that and i'm looking forward to learning how to operate it all ^w^ (and there is a looot to learn). now that my krita rant is over, i just wanted to let y'all know what i've been up to, if anyone cares >w< i got an instagram account fairly recently- @mimasui- and it's a lot quicker to post stuff there so it's way more active than my scratch account. i may post some art dumps and stuff like at the end of the year or something so that peeps who don't have an insta can still see the art i've put on there, but honestly it's quite a lot of work to do that >n< i've been fading away from scratch, but i do want to stay semi-active at least. because it's fairly easy to upload digital art (traditional art means taking a picture, cropping, sending to my computer, saving, and /then/ importing, but with digital the image file is already on the computer), so i may post some of that from time to time. i check my messages fairly often so if you ever want to chat feel free to leave a comment somewhere >w< but if you really want to see regular updates of my art, i suggest following my instagram account. aaalsooo in some pretty big news i started a webtoon! it's called facing dragons and it's based on a short story i wrote recently. you can find it here: http://www.webtoons.com/en/challenge/facing-dragons/list?title_no=127833 keep scratching! ^u^
