I've been drawing outlines of dogs over and over to get my own style and stuff, along with different positions, and with this lineart I just had to make a picture =3 :.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.: This is a picture of Sen (I'm falling in love with him so much OMG) chasing hope, symbolized by that butterfly in the upper right hand corner :) Okay, this is meant to be a pretty deep drawing. This is the world as Sen sees it- black and white, nothing other than his own mind and self mattering to him. He tunes everyone- the black and white parts- out and relishes the quietness, but every now and then something from the outside of his mind, in reality, shines through and gets to him. It breaks his barriers, lets him see everything around him and interact. This is him, finding a friend that will let him open up and be himself- one that he'll be loyal to forever. :.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.: Btw, the story up there. It's not real or anything. Like, Sen doesn't really see in black and white. He can see everyone around him perfectly. It was all metaphorical as an insight into his personality. I'm scouring my brain and le internet to come up with something better. :.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.:.: I'm literally spending all of today practicing dogs XD And I've been comparing, and, slowly but surely, I am deviating from Hibi's style. I figured that the trick was just try drawing from memory and not look at the tutorial or my first pic of Sentiment. There are now subtle differences in my drawing style. 1, eyes. 2, tail- I figured out mine tend to curl down and are more hard-edged than @hibiscusthedog . 3, paws- Mine, first of all, don't have toes (XD ya but that's my style) and are more rounded. 4, I'm trying to make my dogs more rounded and less 'formed', if you know what I mean.
