Space. The quality died. I suppose the art is just following the laws of physics and gaining entropy, but... *sigh* (I'm such a nerd haha) So, I'm a writer, spriter/animator and beta tester for this collab in case y'all didn't know. The story takes place in a country far from the Mushroom Kingdom which is now called the Miau Kingdom (due to its high percentage of catlike beings hahaa). Why? Because I know absolutely nothing about the world of paper mario and it will be easier for me this way. The general outline of the story is that Mario has been kidnapped by a mysterious group called the "Chaos Thieves" and Luigi has to go save him. Since the Chaos Thieves were tracked to the setting I mentioned, Luigi's base of operations is a city there. Now on to the characters! If the official character designer (or just about anyone working on the game) wants to tweak these and make them look better, that's fine by me. Don't worry about how easy they are to draw- I THINK I'll be doing most of the spriting so you won't have to worry about whether you can draw the character easily. 1. This cute kitten is Luigi's sidekick who mostly just refuses to leave. He's playful, confident, outgoing and in desperate need of a name. May be a playable character in some levels. 2. Marine is the older sister of the sidekick. She's a respected detective and is working on the Chaos Thief case. She's a quick thinker and typically doesn't get too emotionally attached to unimportant things. 3. Argus is an honest merchant who specializes in powerups Luigi can use. As you probably guessed, he'll sell you items (nothing too fancy) for reasonable prices. He probably won't have much of an involvement in the story, but just in case, his personality is gentle and helpful and it takes a lot to get him angry. But you seriously don't want to see him when he's mad. Nooooo. 4. Aurent is Argus' not-so-honest cousin. He'll sell you things that are difficult or impossible to get any other way, but he charges a ridiculous amount of money for them. He's unlikely to have much of an involvement in the story, but Aurent is a charming ladies' man, though he is a bit cowardly and would rather flee the scene and save his own skin that stay and help his companions. Extremely unfitting song is Chemical Emotion by Rin Kagamine and Gumi. Art by me. Don't steal it.
