Gavin Sol Sci-fi character along this story: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/4520273/ Gavin is slightly crazy, only VERY slightly, and, yet again, VERY slightly sad due to his abilities. He is casual, clever and convincing. He is loyal to his rebellion, which he leads with pride. And though his intentions are good, he usually does them coming off as evil. One example of this is where he gets people to disguise as Deconstructor soldiers and go on a killing spree, as to put a bad image on the Deconstructor government. This is a successful plan which has been used before in history. Quite simply, on the outside, Gavin seems like a bad person, but on the inside, his intentions are good. Gavin's backstory can be found briefly in the studio linked earlier, and the story behind Gavin's story can be found there. Gavin Sol and his brother Xy Sol were born when the sun exploded and powered their robot skeletons. Unluckily, they landed in the USA and had to hide. For 20 years, they connected to the internet and taught themselves skills which could be used to eventually escape. At the age of 20, together, both of them stole a spaceship and flew off. They eventually found their way to the biggest Stragarian community. 10 years later, they both got in the army. The gods chose them to be "The Chosen", messengers for the gods. They did not know this. The next year, a war between Stragarians and humanity started and they both died. But this wasn't the end. One ability of being chosen was revival. 100 years later, they were both revived, at the state they were in 111 years ago(when they were 20). Xy got elected as the leader of the Deconstructors, who sought revenge against humanity for the war. Gavin disagreed with this and started the Rebuilding Rebellion, focused on protecting humanity. Gavin moved to a giant wreck of a spaceship: Arkanhael. Many meteors crashed into it during the war and it was eventually nuked. At this point it was a highly radioactive desert planet suited for the Stragarian's needs. Gavin set up a base for the Rebuilding Rebellion underneath the deserts. Gavin can go temporarily very fast, teleporting a VERY short distance and not being able to go through walls. He is also revived 100 years after death, with memories of previous lives. This works for and against him. It is sad for him to experience death and know about it so many times, but he can always stay in the fight.
Power Grade: HYPER [2/9, Supernatural Level] So while the character isn't too bad, something that bugged me was how..all over the place the story is and just how average the character feels. The smooth talker personality only stays interesting for so long, and his only true trump card is his (somewhat) creative ability. The Design is...average, and the Story would have been good if there werent so many sudden introductions. Gods? Blessings? Sci-fi? It's such a strange combination.
