Description

TIME VISUALIZERS Time Visualizers are Pen Projects that can accurately show you time measures. For example, you can use pen to show how long one second is, and if it was 5 pixels long, you can show the length and time of another measurement. Enjoy! INSTRUCTIONS The Time Visualizers run by themselves, accurately showing the duration and length of a certain amount of time. Watch them as they crawl across the screen! Duration: | time a visualizer takes to crawl across the screen | green - 0.5 s yellange - 1 s orange - 5 s blue - 10 s pink - 15 s cyan - 30 s yellow - 60 s purple - 150 s Visualizers all take a certain amount of time to crawl across the screen. Every second, they take one step, and the size depends on the duration. The second line from the top is the universal visualizer, because it takes exactly one second to crawl across. Length: | the length of a visualizer every second | The length of a visualizer resets every 0.5 seconds (due to the clear block belonging to green), so its length is actually half its universal length. However, you can still do this activity! Hit the stop button when the green line fully crosses, and measure the length (usually in cm) of each visualizer. Multiply by two, and voila! Or, you can go to see inside and move the clear block to the '1 s Sprite'. Then, the visualizers will be twice as long and take larger steps, though less frequent. LOVE IT Did you like the project? Do you want Pen Games, Pen Visualizers, and even Pen Simulations? Then leave a love to show your support! Thank you! If you ever want to see the time laid out and in colorful lengths instead of that strange-looking analog clock with hands, here's the place to go! Leave a favorite to put it in your Scratch Bookmarks! Waiting for more? Are you excited to see when the next game or simulation comes out, or perhaps another visualizer? Follow me to get updates on my Pen Projects! NOTES This is a fully completed Visualizer! You can play around with the code, and have fun! There are probably only about 50 or so blocks in this project, so it runs without lag, becoming efficient.
