I am afraid of sharks, but it doesn't mean I don't love them. I'll just love them from a distance, that's all. People kill sharks because they're seen as threats. They do, occasionally, eat people's limbs, but they don't know! You know how your mom says, "You can't say you don't like it until you've tried it"? Well, I guess the shark moms say that to their sharklets. Or something. Well, they take a bite, and I'm pretty sure they don't go in for another bite. They probably think, "Oh, a bit too many tiny bones," or, "Too chewy," or, "Too... Strange," or maybe, "Tastes funny," so they go off to find something else to eat. They are innocent! Well, kind of. But they don't do it purposefully! They mistaken human limbs with some tasty fish. Then when they take a bite, they're like, "No. I don't like this fish," or, "This is definitely not the fish I was hoping for," or maybe, "YUCK!" So really, it's not their fault.
Not my picture.
