Robert Shaw (University of California, Santa Cruz) was a pioneer in the development of chaos theory. He published his paper 'Strange Attractors, Chaotic Behavior, and Information Flow', in 1981. This project codes the equations Shaw gives in his paper for the damped harmonic oscillator (Figure 1 in his paper). All of the x, y settings iterate to the spiral fixed-point attractor.
