We've been working on it for some months now, improving concepts, adding new things faster and working harder than before, going to newer lengths to bring you some Mario goodness! And we present to you... THIS! :D As some of you may know, this project was released to the public back in 2017 at a demo version of v1.8, but we've been updating it outside of the Scratch website and it has shot up all the way from demo v3.5 to a full remaster as major updates were added! We can't list most of the updates, but now, Mario has an all newer look, so click that green flag and enjoy it! :D (Some things may be glitchy.) Controls: Arrow keys to move, Down arrow or V (on the ground) to crouch. Down arrow or V (in air while jumping) to ground pound. Z to jump. C to throw Cappy. Removed Topper to provide a less glitchy experience. Added a tutorial mode much like the assist mode in the real SMO Reworked Mario's sprites once again, adding detail all around! Reworked the falling animation at the beginning of the game, with that having rebooted sprites too! Added a Cap Kingdom NPC Added more shaders (shadows) Changed the moon sprite. (Credit to @super_plush_bros5) Added a hover effect for both Cappy and the NPC to give them more animation and detail. (Credit to @Salvitus) Tweaked the health meter to pulse in size when it is low. Added lava FX to give some more detail over to them. Added an effect to the HUD whenever a regional coin or a normal coin is collected. (Credit to @super_plush_bros5) Removed the "kill switch". v0.41 (released on 18/11/18) - Updated the sprites for the question block at the start of the game. Thank you for making the sprites @KyzaLuigi ! v0.42 (released on 17/12/18) - Edited the moon icon's outline to prevent coin counter complications. (never thought you'd see alliteration in a patch note, huh?) Also, the question block has finally been fixed. v0.5 (released on 15/01/19) - Fixed the Cap Kingdom NPC text, changed the movement of the Cappy pointer on the title screen, and fixed some other pesky bugs. v0.51 (released on 19/01/19) - Added NSMBU walk sound effects and also added a thumbnail for the game! Enjoy! v0.52 (released on 21/01/19) - Added a NSMBU land sound. v0.53 (released on 15/02/19) - Added an easter egg! Try and find it! v0.53_1 (released on 16/02/19) - Added a global hit counter and global ded counter! Let's see how many people can get hit or die (is that a good or bad thing?) v0.53_2 (released on 04/05/19) - Tweaked the credits at the end of the game to be more accurate. All of the credits have been moved into the credits that happen at the end of the game (spoilers?), so don't feel like you've been "de-credited".
