This project generates pixelated versions of several iconic portraits, each drawn with the pen. Press P to select a portrait, then use the mouse to draw a rectangle on the screen. This sets the initial placement, size, and proportions of the image. Use WASD to move the portrait around. Use the arrow keys to distort it. Press Q for a crazy explosion effect. Press E and R to expand and retract the squares. Press space to clear and start over. You can also pixelate your own image, using a built-in image scanner. To do this, remix the project and add a new backdrop by uploading an image or capturing one with the camera. Press M to begin the scanning process. The scanner sprite will pixelate the source image and scan the pixels, sensing and recording the color one by one. Be patient! This may take a couple minutes. When the scan is finished, you can paint it, just like any other.
