Here is chapter one+two these are all i have done btw Death’s Embrace Chapter one, Adventure The sun shines through the thick canopy of leaves, the piny smell of the trees flood my senses pleasantly. I know this forest like the back of my hand. Or so i thought. I move through the woods like a shadow. Not a single twig snaps beneath my slightly heavy weight. I take my hands out of my hoodie. How long have i been walking, a mile, three? I find the stream i would come to when i was 12. Trying to catch fish with my bare hands. Simpler days. How rude of me, can’t even remember to introduce myself. My name is Rose Mulligan. If you wonder why i am here, I need to cool down, relax. I sit down on the icey cold boulder, bathing in the sun's warm rays. Still icy however. It takes some maneuvering and slipping for me to finally sit on the smooth edges. I fiddle through my pant pocket for my clunky charlson s5. I press the small home button and wait for the old phone to register my thumb print. I open Textra and look at the group chat. 37 messages for that short 15 minutes? I guess 10 people can text in that time frame. Apparently nothing has cooled down with my friends. TolGreenbeen:IT WASNT MY FAULY Greenbeenbutsmol:So you accendently PUNCHED HIM IN THE FACE?OK SURE THATS BELIVEABLE Hydrogen+oxeygenhousingcomplex: G, you need to relax, it was not her fault Tolgreenbeen:Yeah! Listen to him! You:DONE WITH THIS CRAP I'M OUT! I am sick of this darn groupchat. I use it to talk to friends but it makes unneccisary drama. I click the x and a small pop up asks, are you SURE you want to delete this chat? Before a press the button there is one more text from a true friend. Shiplord:rose WAIT! A bit to late, i am sick of all of this bull. You left the chat Tolgreenbe@n left the chat Greenbe@nbutsmol left the chat Hydrpgen+oxeygenhousing complex left the chat Yikes. I press the stiff power button and slowly but surely slip off of the rock. A strong gust of wind blows the flame colored leaves to detach from the trees in a large cluster, forming a large phoenix shaped cloud of leaves to fly out into the partly cloudy abis. I walk for another 5 minutes until i find a new path. Should i turn back? All i have is my homework, sketchbook,$50 and that's it. It's going to be dinner soon and i could explore for HOURS! Although if i DO go i could find some cool things! And its nature, i know how to defend myself against large animals. I could find a deer! I step onwards onto the path. Wait… this isn't normal dirt, i sink less. I brush off a thin layer and find neatly arranged cobblestone pebbles lining the new path. It must be a biking path, oh well, it might lead to town! I continue following the path. This path does not seem.. Normal… Each step i take it seems more ominous. I look up to see a large flock of crows perch on different bare trees. A million pairs of beady eyes are staring down at me. A loud screech comes from a small chick and I flinch. Relax, I tell myself. I uncomfortably walk through the rest of the path. I start to feel tired. I look at the time. 5:18!! I turn to go back but i can't. I came all this way, what's the point of turning back? I have gps it's fine. I turn back to where i was previously facing and keep walking. Around 15 minutes pass. I am ready to turn back, but there it is. An old mansion. No cars, heck, not even a parking place. Hedges circle the old mansion, grown out of control. An old cracking fountain surrounded by an old mossy stone circle. I break into a run. And old fancy bench lays there, waiting for me. I sit down. The relief on my legs is almost heavenly. I look around and see the old door, one hinge on the steps. Ahh who cares i will get up in a minute. I get on my phone and play flappy bird, the original. Around 10 minutes later and get up to the door. Leaves are growing around the brick and even around the door. I tear off the leaves preventing me from seeing the inside. I lay my hand on the dirty aged door handle. I prepare myself and open the door. And let myself in. Awful edicate i know. But can i help myself? I step onto the soft wooden floor. It creaks so loudly i feel like falling through. I want to squeal with delight. I freaking LOVE old timey mansions and anything it's just-eaughh! I close the door gently behind me. Oh this will be fun!
Death's Embrace Chapter 2,Who’s There? I hear my front door slam. Must have opened from the draft. My ghost of a kitten nuzzles against the faded blue dress. I watch from the slight balcony leading off the stairs as the tall girl walks around my house. Who does she think she is? She turns into my ballroom. Ok she might steal things, i can NOT let that happen. I go so fast i pretty much float down the stairs. Not even one creak. I follow her like a shadow. “Woah.” she murmurs. Her eyes shine at the sight of my cob web coated chandeliers. I really need to dust them. She holds the dingy lace tablecloth and rubs it between her fore finger and thumb. She better not tear them with those long nails of hers, those costed 25 shillings! She pulls out a wierd rectangular object. She presses a small circle and a light brighter than any normal candle shines from a small socket. She taps a strange 2d button on the glass and it all goes transparent. You can see right through the object! She presses a small circle and a bright flash emits from the device. How very fascinating! It MUST be whitch craft of some sort. She walks through more and finds my old organ. It's clearly covered in a white sheet so why is she running towards it? She tears it off which such rigger. She plays a few notes. That tune is familiar… I creep up behind her, silent as a ghost and read the name of the sheet. Mozart Symphony no.37 . She plays each score so elegantly it sounds better than what that pudding headed fellow could ever play. By the time the 15th measure came up i couldn't help myself, i sit on the wide stool and start playing. When i reach the first key and it makes it's elegant sound she jumps so high she practically falls off the seat. “Oh dear lord i'm sorry! Are you alright?” I offer her my hand but she manages on her own. “I-I'm fine, you're outfit is very… vintage?” Right when she says vintage i look down at my blue summer dress and give a slight curtsey. “Oh, these old rags? They are nothing much. Say, i never got you're name, On the ladder, it's theodorsia, you perhaps?” “R-rose mulligan.” “Say, i knew a mulligan! Probobly not related however. And let me say this you have some talent! You play better than mozart ever could!” “Thank you, back at you!” What does she mean back at you. I giggle stupidly. “So, you come here often?” Come here? I live her but i should play along. “Yeah, it's a pretty ripping place to check out. I could show you around if you would like.” Ripping? Who says THAT?! I am not a savvage. “Sure i don't see why not!” She slowly stands up off the stool and we walk slowly through the old mansion of which is my home.
