When the star pops up, press Z. When the hand comes up, use the UA and the DA and Z. Note: Picking NOPE when Scratch Cat asks you if you like Kirby or Paper Mario will crash your comp. Please just don't do it! (If you think I'm lieing, take a peek for yourself.)
