Instructions

Stoatfur leaped away from the RiverClan cat, spitting, only to see the opportunity he had been waiting for. Sweetberry, alone for a moment, near the edge of the battle. Waves of fury and sorrow and love shot through Stoatfur's body. Then the thought of her, at the moor's edge, her tail twining with a RiverClan cat's, her eyes full of the love he'd always longed to be for him . . . . Stoatfur sprang forward, lashing his tail. Before she could sight him, he raked her claws across her ear, snarling. She whirled around, shock and pain flashing in her eyes. "Stoatfur? What are you doing?" she cried. Stoatfur decided it was best that she knew. He would kill her, anyway, so it didn't matter. "I saw you one night! With him!" Stoatfur growled, jerking his head towards the RiverClan cat he'd seen with her that clear, cloudless night. Sweetberry's beautiful green eyes widened. Then Stoatfur herd another voice. "Sweetberry! What's going on?" It was that silver RiverClan cat! This was Stoatfur's chance. He could kill both of them, it would look as though they had died fighting in this battle. He lunged for her first, claws flashing, but she ducked away and turned to face him once more. "You could have been happy with me! We could have been mates!" Stoatfur yowled. The rage he had held back for so long was pouring out of him. "I loved you!" There. He had said it. He had always tried to impress her, make her like him . . . but she had never seemed to notice him. Anger jolting him again, he leaped to kill her . . . one bite and it would be over . . . but silver flashed in the corner of his eye . . . and suddenly he was slamming into the RiverClan warrior with a screech of shock . . . he felt claws score his underbelly, the warm burst of blood, and everything went black.

Description

For Gingerkitteh. Geez, when I write from Stoatfur's point of view, I can never help but to pity him. D: You will not understand this unless you have seen http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/16039613/ and http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/16024959/ They explain Stoatfur's story.
