If you have not heard of this song the link to it is here- https://youtu.be/Q_QEPrkwZ-Q ================================================== I know what you`re thinking, "But Dragon, how could a edgy song possibly have something to hide? The meaning is pretty clear right?" Yeah no. This whole song is one conspiracy waiting to happen. So I made it happen. On the surface of CopyCat, Gumi(That`s her name right?) seems just like a very insecure girl who makes drastic changes to herself to fit in. But I dug deeper, and saw one thing that stood out. The MIRROR! Why does Gumi need it? Why does she ALWAYS have it with her? Sure it`s a metaphor but where`s the fun in that? So I start thinking, is this mirror a magical item? Does it have mal-intent? The answer is, yes. This mirror is inhabited by a soul-sucking demon. Here`s my reasoning. Listen to these lyrics, "Say hello, who are you?" Why is a mirror introducing itself? And why is Gumi so wary of it? That`s right first sign of no-gooders. Lets keep going, "Day by day i`m fading away" and "Take me over". Huh, I`m no demon expert, but I`m pretty sure if you`re losing you`re soul then you`d be fading from existence. Not literally fading away like a ghost but you know what I mean. Losing personality and what not. So now, I present the REAL story- Gumi(Still a insecure girl) comes across a strange mirror one day. She takes it home, where she meets the demon inside of it. This demon offers her fake confidence(Gumi does`nt know its fake yet) in exchange for "small" pieces of her soul. Because reasons Gumi agree. Skip ahead a few days, Gumi is starting to realize this i really fishy. She starts avoiding the mirror. As retaliation, our demon plants negative emotions to force Gumi back for more false happiness. Eventually her entire soul is GONE, and Gumi is sucked into the mirror for one last round of games(See Last Of Me a theory for another day) to steal her heart: the last remanent of her soul. If anyone disagrees, we can duel it out in the comments. Come at me bro! I got plenty more evidence to support this theory.
