This is a short story about the monarchy that used to rule Aurora many years ago before the magicians took over. Here, the newly crowned king (who had a soft spot for the colourless) believed in a set of values that the magicians disagreed with. Whilst their corruption has tampered with the minds of the current citizens of aurora, those who lived back in the time of Kings and Queens still carry this emotional trauma. It also shows off a bit off the evil kind of things the mistress got up to as a child!
