"but they're mixed up!" you protest, oblivious to the fact that, yeah, that's the point. ~i'm most DEFINITELY NOT saying that these kinds of people can't look how they're often portrayed in pop culture, in everyday representation. if that's how you look, you do you! my point is that people shouldn't be restricted by stereotypes. people saying how they're "supposed" to look. "you can't be non-binary, you look like a girl!" every person has their own unique style and form of expression. girls shouldn't feel self-conscious because they don't look like the women on magazine covers and in beauty ads. boys shouldn't feel ashamed of themselves because they'd rather draw then play sports. non-binary people shouldn't change their style because people don't believe them when they come out. long hair or short hair, any color on the rainbow, objects and restrictions don't define how someone feels inside. don't be afraid to comment or remix support if you agree <3
