Just run, watch and listen. You'll get a new pattern every 10 seconds (default) - user adjustable using 'Refresh Seconds'. 'Next' will give you a new pattern regardless of 'Refresh Seconds'. 'Hold' will keep you on the current pattern until you press 'Release'. 'Show' shows you the current parameters that were used to make the pattern.
