halfway through working on the project i realized i was using black lineart when it had to be a black background so i ended up rushing back to change the color of the lineart (thank goodness for protect alpha)
I tried to give it a sort of sketchy but polished look. I don't think I pulled it off very well but I'm not sure how I could improve it without taking away the sketchy look which is the opposite of what I want.
