===================================================== Hey! Welcome to my 3rd speed draw... Sorry I've been so inactive lately. School has started back up, my soccer season has started, and I have little free-time to create scratch projects. Anyway, here is what I have been up to with my art. Descriptions are provided, but I'll write a more complex version here in the description. Just a clarification on my signature, Ckw are my initials, and S17 stands for series 2017, or basically just stuff I made in the year 2017. I did have a really bad sketch of Brett Favre (Foot ball player) that I was going to include but it didn't seem to fit in with my animals so I just decided to discard it. Here are the descriptions: 1 - Penguin I did this last weekend while watching a show on Netflix. I enjoyed getting back into the habit of sketching, because I had been on an art drought. 2 - Lamb I wanted to draw a lamb, because I've been planning a finished, polished piece with a lamb in it. Now I know that lambs are hard to draw... lol 3 - Lion This is another sketch of something that I wanted to include in a finished piece. I also drew a lion with soft pastels, so I've been practicing lion anatomy. 4 - Wolf This is personally one of my favorite sketches from this speed draw. I spent quite a bit of time on this one, and I'm happy with how it came out. I decided to use a little blue colored pencil for the eyes because they were a huge element of the reference picture I was using. 5 - Zebra On the contrary as oppose to my wolf, I'm not too happy with how this one came out.. lol. I just don't feel like It's as good as it could have been. The face shape is kind of screwed up, and the shading isn't right... Oh well. 6 - Bunny This was a really fun one. I again drew this while watching a Netflix show, and I really enjoyed shading this one. I guess bunny anatomy is pretty simple if you draw them sitting down, because they're basically a lump with a head.. xD 7 - Cheetah This was actually a picture I drew after getting the suggestion at school. This sketch was great practice for drawing things in motion. 8 - Kitten Awww! It's a kitten! Okay.. Maybe it's not as cute as the reference... Not anywhere near. I tried, but it's hard to accurately portray one of the cutest animals ever. The eyes were my main problem. They weren't round enough, and then they were too round... I'm pretty satisfied with how they are now, but it took a while to get them that way. =====================================================
