The audience was listening to a Harvest Country Music festival. As of October 3rd, 56 people have died and over 500 people are injured. The 2017 Las Vegas Shooting is the largest public massacre in modern American history. (Paraphrased from Wikipedia and CNN) The Song and MAP Rules Maren Morris, a country music singer, released the song "Dear Hate" (featuring Vince Gill) to commemorate the victims of the shooting.
