If the Scratch team won't give us video support, we'll take it from 'em, in the form of hundreds of GIF's. I doubt that this will ever catch on, as you have to sacrifice either pause function or sound (although my player supports either). I just want to point out the nifty volume bar. I'll add tooltips and stuff later, but for now, just know you can drag the progress bar when it's pause to crawl through the video. It's a short Flash animation that my friends and I used for our ridiculous movies for literature class. Here's a challenge: How long does this take to load online on a scale of 1-10, 10 being almost instantly, and 1 being that it won't even get past the Java loader. I'm a 7.5!
