I feel like the pets have started to become more about the bright colors and random gimmicks and less about their sweetness and pure personality. That's why this week, I took out spontaneous colors and patterns completely and focussed solely on their characters. All of the dogs are shades of brown and all of the cats are shades of grey. Next week, they will be "normal" again, but I thought it would be nice to give the "plain" animals a little bit of recognition. And I have to say, I had a lot of fun exploiting their personalities and feelings based completely off of the shade of a color. Sorry that the Cats don't look that much like fairies, but I put a lot into this! The artwork and cutie-marks on the dogs and cats were a bit hard to make, and I made this in a few days. Adopt any animal you want, and focus on the things it likes when you make he/she a home! And please, like @lauraisawesome said, please don't judge a dog by looking at he/she's style. Focus on their special and individual personalities, and relate and love them with who they are, not how they look (Unless you guys are twins, or something :3)
