Sasha trekked through forest. The white sun beat down on her dark russet fur. Her black stripes gleamed in the bright light. It was hot, very hot. She needed water. After several more minutes of walking, she came across a small stream, and lapped thirstily. That's when she saw her. Watching. Her brown-striped fur shone as she stepped into the sunlight. Reena. Sasha's sister! She hadn't seen her since they were cubs! "Reena!" Sasha cried joyfully. "Sasha!" Reena's amber eyes were bright. "What are you doing here?" she asked. "I was tracking prey," Sasha replied. "But I lost the tail." Reena flicked her long tail. "Why don't I help you hunt, then we can eat together, just like we did with Misha!" she exclaimed. Sasha sighed happily at the thought of their mother bringing them food and teaching them to hunt. "Let's do it!"
