He isn't leaving because he's too old for Scratch, or he's ready to move on to C++ or some other kind of code. He's LEAVING BECAUSE of YOU. The Scratch community. Yes, you. You might be saying right now, "THAT'S A LIE!", or "I'm an angel!", but before you start posting crazy comments on this project. It may not be you that's the problem, as I said before, it's the community. LS is leaving because of AEs, people discouraging him to stand up for what he believes is right, by telling him that it's fine if his projects are in hundreds of AEs, though he's asked countless times for them to be taken out. He's leaving because of the firefights over religious and political views. Petitions for real life matters off of Scratch other than programming. The projects that say "_________ Is Okay! Sign if You Care!" He's leaving because of jerks who comment rude things on his projects like "this stink", and "hey cool but you need to check my project out". He's leaving because Scratch has turned into a community not to learn about programming, but to use programming as a weapon in a war.
