Ulexite was a Homeworld communication gem who was sent to earth in the 1930s, to check up on earth, and the first few experiments in gem shards that would lead up to the cluster- however, her ship was going to crash, so she made her way into an escape pod and landed in Empire City and became obsessed with cartoons and animation. She can pick up radio waves with her mind, and can communicate to other gems by telepathically transmitting images- Homeworld uses gems of her type for communication. She just kinda lives on earth and gets up to her own adventures, escaping her superiors and getting up to mischief on earth. She's not exactly on the side of the crystal gems, but isn't really on either side. She also runs a cartoon critique blog in the present, and lives a relatively normal life in Empire City and complains about how cartoons just aren't how they used to be. Her weapon is a gun. (The reason her weapon is a gun is an inside joke with my irl friends, GiveUlexiteAGun2017 happened)
