RULES: - 3 characters max. The Overseers, Supervisors, and kingdom royalty don't count against your character max. If your character dies, that character is no longer counted in the max and you are free to create another whenever you want. - Max 25 filled in stat bubbles, but you don't have to fill in all 25 - Backstory is optional, Personality is not! - Only managers can play as an Overseer, folk I trust are allowed to play as royalty. Anyone can rise from the lower ranks of Uprisers to become a Supervisor, but after the first three Supervisor ranks have been filled in, after a Supervisor has died another can gain the ranking through proving themself in previous RPs to be a trusted Upriser. - Fidelity is faithfulness to a cause. In this case, Upriser, Escapist, or Hopeless would be a fidelity. Saying what kingdom you belong to would also be fidelity(if you do belong to a kingdom) For example, fidelity followed by rank could be "Myopia, Sage (Escapist)" if you weren't born in the kingdom and instead escaped - The creatures in this sign-up sheet are the main species of creatures you are allowed to play as. Don't use your own lineart. - Don't go overboard with your creature's magical ability - If your character has escaped from the Quarters to be an Upriser or Escapist, I encourage you to roleplay the escape, but it's not required for Uprisers. If you are an Escapist, it is required to RP the escape, because getting completely out of the Overseers' territory is a far harder chore than finding the Uprisers. - You must play a real role - I don't care what design your character has, but keep in mind, bright colors can be spotted easier - If you have no backup with the group and insist on being a lone wolf, EXPECT DEATH! If you get your character into a situation where death is inevitable, not giving your permission won't be enough to avoid death. - If you have become a Flatliner, you are not going to be able to play as your character-turned-Overseer monster as if they have free will: they don't. Your character is dead, go ahead and make another. - Punishment in the two kingdoms is ultimately decided by the kings and queens, but commonly it is accepted that the harshest punishment(sending the offender to the Overseers in exchange for a resource or for being left alone for a set amount of time)is reserved for the worst offenders - Sanity is a score that shows how rational your character would be in a stressful or scary situation. The lower it is, the more likely your character is to act without thinking and, consequently, get killed. - Magical endurance is linked to how long you can go without rest before your magic runs out, and magical talent is how much control you have over it. If you have great control, then even while you're scared, you could probably use the power to some extent, but if you have poor control, chances are even when you're not stressed out you'd have trouble using it. ADDITIONAL RULES FOR CREATING AN OVERSEER: - Overseers have free will! They are not robots! Although they may share similar disdainful ideals regarding the local creatures of the world they've come to from their dimension, they have their own tactics and ways of dealing with things! That is what makes them such dangerous competition and has let them rule such a large area for so long. Were it not for the armies fleeing the nearby areas and congregating in the two remaining kingdoms, the Overseers likely would have taken over that too. - Peace and war between Overseers or individual Overseers and kingdoms are decided entirely by the the owners of the Overseers. While most battles between Overseers are fought for their enjoyment or for territory, it is possible for Overseers to grow bitter towards each other and fight solely to kill each other's monsters. - There are no set linearts for the Overseer species, as they come from a variety. Talk your species over with me so I know its strengths/weaknesses before you make it your Overseer's species. - Each Overseer is based around a theme! Blue Glass, for example, claims his territory markers with the color blue, blue crystals, and large slabs of glass, and his armor is also focused on the color blue and decorated with shards of glass. However, he will also take his opponent's eyes as trophies, due to his species' nature. Be sure to include the effects of your Overseer's species in their behavior. - Overseer names aren't actually in the common language of the folk, and they instead have given themselves what they call "Lordnames" so the common creatures have something to call them. The name setup eventually agreed on between the Overseers' species is: A color(green, red, silver, ivory, black, etc)followed by an item or animal(viper, diamond, banner, mountain, etc) - Max 20 statbubbles filled in, Overseers have no magical abilities(telepathic connection to their own monsters is the only magic power they have)so cross out magical sanity/talent
Woot I actually made a character relatively fast XD This is suprising to me. Ebony Light is very open about his life, although not the most honest about it. He's too flirty for his own good, as his species doesn't stick to one mate for their whole lives. He's not the best romantic partner either, believing himself to own everyone. He's extremely squeamish about blood and gore and will go to great lengths to avoid it, whether ordering everyone to poison his self-proclaimed foes to hiding in his fort when there's a battle. He's not very honest, either, and if someone brings up a topic he'd rather have behind curtains, he'll lie and decieve his way out of it.
