"Cryophoenix: Unlike the pyrophoenix, a bird of fire, a cryophoenix is a bird of ice. Often, you can find ice crystalized in its beak to give it 'teeth'. Cryophoenices do not often these 'teeth', however, as they do not eat animals. Any amount of fire can harm it and often kill it, which is why it is often hunted by pyrophoenices. Unintentionally, they tend to freeze any amount of water near them. This can cause a hydrophoenix, that calls that body of water home, to attack the cryophoenix." -'Amazing Animals for the Absurdly Absent-Minded' by whitepinecone This is my entry for the Fantasy Contest hosted by @Ramcu
