Description

This is an incredibly early version. The map is hand-drawn using data from biome maps by the University of Wisconson at Madison and monthly average sea surface temperatures by the IRI Climate Data Laboratory at Columbia University. The hurricane sprite is hand-drawn using various Google searches. Aside from the integrity of storms as they pass over the Leeward Islands and organization/wind speed effects over 160 mph, the simulation aspect is mostly complete. Months January through August are drawn out. Right now, only one storm has the updated mechanics. Future plans: - Fine tune hurricane decay over land - Make hot and cold years that influence hurricane development - Make landfall indicators - Patch wind speed integrity over the Leeward Islands - Allow for multiple storms to appear at the same time - Allow for hurricane season summary - Allow for storms to appear on their own in an auto-run mode - Create a watch/warning system
