D-Day was an operation that took place in 1944 June 6th. The Allies invade the coast of Normandy. It was the largest land , air , and naval in history. It was fought between the Allies (The U.S , The British , and the Canadians) and the Axis powers ( Germany aka Nazis) D - Day was a turning point in World War II.
