Instructions

Fibonacci Sunflower - Click the Green Flag to become a believer. If seeing is not believing, hit the Space bar. If you still don't believe click the Stage a few times. To convince you there are exactly 34 (10th term of the Fibonacci Series) clockwise Spirals and 55 (11th term) anti-clockwise Spirals, hit the Left and Right arrows (when the Sunflower background is not faded out only). The Sunflower shown grew in my front yard. PS: I can also count 21 (9th term) inner Spirals. See Fibonacci Sunflower 3/4/5/6/7/8 or 9 for my "Ground Breaking?" theory!

Description

Created by @gregatku for use in Coding Classes for Kids Unlimited, for whom I work as a Coding teacher. Students will NOT be asked to build this project. It is a follow-up to the Fibonacci Spiral exercise, to show them the ultimate expression of the Fibonacci Numbers in Nature, namely a Sunflower.
