thank you for watching ! i appreciate all of the support and love all of y'all <3 x it's been almost a year since i posted the other part of satisfied, and i've decided to add on more ! i've had the entire animatic planned out in my head for a while now, but i'd like to explain something below ! you don't have to read it, but i personally wanted to type it out ! x why is she holding a lantern ? .. in "satisfied," angelica goes back in time to the night where she met alexander. in "satisfied," you can hear a small melody, which you can also hear in "burn" ! that melody, from what i've learned, means familial sacrifice (sacrifice for the better/happiness of your family) in "burn," i think that eliza carries a lantern, which i use in each of my animatics (from now on - i've had this in my head for forever !) to show something like the passing of a microphone - a spotlight. a song which you can see into the character. in my mind, when angelica goes back in time ("rewinds") she looks back at herself, shining a lantern while she narrates her story. ... it's really complicated, but i just wanted to get this out there ! i hope you liked my little ramble, and keep an eye out for any lanterns in future hamilton animatics !
