I FINALLY GOT A SIGNATURE! woooh --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Somehow, the current image (not this one) ended up more sad than cute. I made the fatal mistake of listening to sad music when drawing lol (a sample has been added!). But I find that sadness and cuteness go hand in hand. This is a Fire Feline (okay maybe I need a better name :9). They have a fur colour range of yellow-orange-red-pink-purple-blue-black (oh great that's every colour lol. Actually, thanks to @ADhamodharan for: "green is not in the fur color range so NOT every color! "), plus a mane of fire which continues along their spine. The fire can be any colour, the rarest is considered to be golden-white or purple-black. Fire Felines' fire mane and spine ridge are very small when kittens and extend in length, volume and temperature in adolescence. A fully grown Fire Feline male is usually as large as a Maine Coon domestic cat (at 45 to 60 cm long) and females range from 35 to 50 cm. Fire Felines resemble lions with the mane and face, but their physique matches that of a perfect miniature tiger (especially when lying down) - some Fire Felines can have stripes, spots, tabby markings, or uncommonly, swirls and dots such as Hyacinder's or Ivoryflora's. Fire Felines are affectionate creatures, they are very intelligent and said to be incandescent (puns!). This is a male Fire Feline (ik it looks soooo masculine lol) named Hyacinder who's mate died. As you can see, he is of a pink to blue in hue (rhymes!) accented with red-pink. His flame is a stunning red (now THAT, you can finally see :D) which would be considered common if it weren't for the rich gold (more puns) sparks that frequent it. His friends often call him by his nickname: Hyacinder the Steam Cat. His mate was known as Ivoryflora (pronounce it ivory-aura), she was a rarely coloured white Fire Feline with golden-white flames. She had soft, molten gold eyes and an amber nose, inner ear and pattern detailing (such as that seen on Hyacinder's cheek). She was drowned (insert *gasp*) by - wait for it - humans who discovered her drinking from a stream. Mean, huh? Humans fear Fire Felines, not because they harm humans or their faulted lifestyles, but out of unjust and prejudiced terror of a 'predator'. Fire Felines need only sunlight as sustenance, and possess claws and elongated canines only for self defense and to settle arguments, however, Fire Fiends will not kill or maim unless absolutely necessary - they are peace-loving and gentle. Some humans hunt them for sport (very unsuccessfully, for Fire Felines are very intelligent, remember?), even though they are a protected species and considered lucky to stumble upon. Some humans refer to them as the Sun God's descendants and treat them accordingly. lol imagine if I replaced every mention of 'Fire' with 'potaaato' . That's a lotta potaaatos.
