They'll tell you a lot more about all the characters in the Arcane Universe. Jay probably has a more darker bios out of all the characters. When he was young, he was constantly bullied by his classmates in school, to the point where it got so bad that in later years, were part of a famous crime involving the death of Jay's (and Rex' and Tai's) parents. Greatly grieved out of the three by the loss, Jay falsely assumed that the bullies in his school were suspect to their death. Jay had absorbed the residual magic of his parents, and with that power, destroyed them. However, he later learned that another being, %O@M*<, was the true culprit of the murder. Jay is now unable to tap into his Mystic power, unless his existence is in peril.
