Hey-lo everyone! It is I, your friendly neighbourhood Maple with a message for you! ;3 Okay, so a while back I turned to two friends and said, let's collaborate on a story! One book soon turned into a planned trilogy, and we are currently writing the second book. Before school ended, I was supposed to type it up, but I missed my deadline by a few chapters and never really continued. But then the other day I emailed my friend, and we decided to turn it into an animated series. Originally it was called the OC Hunger Games, but since none of us knew anything about how the Hunger Games worked at the time... it wasn't even the Hunger Games. So we renamed it. And here I have it. Episode One's casting call. HOW TO READ THIS PROJECT Press space to move forth. The number in the top right corner is a number of slides that character has. Most only have one. The dashes mark separate lines to record. The brackets mark noises like laughter or the tone of voice to read the line in. If a character says "Minor/ Main Character in Season One", chances are they die in the first season. XD HOW TO ENTER Remix this project with the recordings inside, as many characters as you want. I didn't include many main roles as they are either not in this episode and/ or taken by my friends and me. Like Maple, June, etc. THE ROLES Keep in mind all of these characters are adults, so if you are very young I recommend auditioning for a character with a higher voice. Also, try to keep the voice sounding natural if it is a different pitch from yours, ex. I have a naturally deep voice so if I auditioned for a higher pitched character I wouldn't want it to sound squeaky, and vice versa, don't sound monotone. 1. Onyx Onyx is a male with an average toned voice. He only has two lines in the whole series. 2. Hatty Paunts CLOSED Hatty Paunts is a female OC leader. She is a main character, and very aggressive, as if she was a wild animal. Maple swats at her with a flyswatter when she is bad. One of three OC leaders, which can compare to the president snow's of this world, and the only one being cast, as her owner isn't in theatre. She is extremely chaotic. @HATTYPAUNTS 3. Vin Vin is an extremely important main character in the first season. While not in the actual games, he has a whole monologue scene. Looking for experienced voice acting for him. Vin is blind, and while very aggressive, keeps a calm tone almost always. Vin carries no emotion when he speaks, yet brings emotion. With no spoilers, I'll just say this; Vin is cool. XD 4. Luna Luna is a female main character, again not in the games. She enunciates every letter when she gets mad. She has a lower voice, but overall talks at a medium tone, just a tad lower. Luna's sometimes used as a comic relief, and tends to lighten the scenario. 5. Caspian A male main character with a croaky voice. Is in the games, but not a main focus. Manipultive, yet kind. 6. Grandma Weird A side old lady who seems innocent enough. A lot of lines, but not a main character.
