A question someone (My brain) once asked me: "What's with all these guys? How is a troll, Text thing, Skeleton, Blocky dude, Squid, fusion, cyborg, and literal pencil sketches even related to WhyNot?" And then I said: "All of them were created in his Lab. They all have a reason why they exist. None of them are truly organic.. or in certain cases, kid or a squid, blocks, goopy bug alien interdimensional creatures, ETC. They will never be canon/fanon/headcanon/whateverelse to their official universes. They are all separate. This is WhyNot's universe, where his adventures are a by-product of just creating experiment #69. Which means that Kitteh isn't based in the FNAF Universe and stuff like that. Which would explain many things. There are exceptions though" and then my brain was like: "I feel like that paragraph is important to some story about him, anyways what are the exceptions?" And then I was like: "Pony, Pega, Pony JR, Mysterioso, and Puzzoli are based in the universe they're based off" and then Brain: "But how are you going to make 100+ characters relate to eachother?" and I: "Anybody can do it"
