Instructions

-chapter 2- The base landed in the outskirts of G.U.N city (the city in city escape). "Stay safe Jewel." Jet said as the cargo bay (I think the airship has one) door opened. "Okay, I will." Jewel said as she zoomed off into the city. At a fruit stand, a dark blue echidna scientist in a white lab coat that lived in the city was buying some grapes. Why would I tell you this? I'm telling you this because Jewel zoomed by this echidna really fast. So fast, in fact, that the poor scientist spun around a couple of times and dropped the crate full of grapes that he bought. After the frightful experience, he simply got up and brushed himself off while muttering under his breath, "Kids these days..." and picked the crate. Then he got a look of shock on his face as he started to recognize the vague blur that flew past him. "Ocean...?" He mumbled as he turned around in the direction that Jewel had went. A few moments later, the echidna was on his motor scooter going as fast as he could to try and catch up to Jewel. But first, he rushed over to his house and handed the grapes to his wife, a yellow echidna with blue eyes, who said, "What's the rush, Aqueous?" (Yes, that is his name) "I believe I've found her." Aqueous said sternly as he rode off on his motor scooter. Meanwhile, after startling 3 ducks, almost running over 2 business men, and scaring a family of Romanian acrobats, Jewel was happy she didn't speak Romanian, also, she saw Aqueous on his little motor scooter catching up to her. "Excuse me, would you mind pulling over for a second?" Aqueous asked politely. Jewel replied sarcastically, "No, I don't mind getting pulled over by a scientist on his little tricycle. Of course I mind!" "Hey! I'm well respected scientist, you aught to show some respect! I've earned countless PH.Ds in countless subjects!" Aqueous said angrily. Jewel then replied with an insult, saying, "Oh, I'm sorry, I should have said 'nerd scientist'." Aqueous, completely acting out of blind rage at this point, grabbed Jewel's hover board and yanked it from underneath Jewel and then grabbed her by her wrist. Later when Aqueous arrived home he was dragging a struggling Jewel inside by the wrist. Aqueous then tossed Jewel onto the couch next to his wife, who seemed quite startled at how she was brought in. "Is this really necessary? The wife asked Aqueous. Aqueous then replied, "She doesn't even remember us Orchid, she would never have came here willingly. Orchid then sighed and said, "Well she was a baby when we lost her, so it shouldn't be that much of a shock." Jewel, in the meantime was freaking out inside and tried her best to hide it physically as she was asking herself, "Who are these people? Why do they want me? What are they going to do to me? Will my dad try to find me?" Jewel then completely froze and really started to panic as she heard Orchid say to Aqueous, "Well, we have to tell her at some point that we're her parents." It was then that she couldn't hold the panic back any longer, she bolted to the door and tried desperately to open it, but it was locked. (In states of pure panic like this a person doesn't really use common sense to realize that a door is locked) Aqueous then grabbed her and placed her on the couch once again. Orchid then tried to start up a conversation with Jewel after a minute or so of awkward silence by asking, "So, where have you been all this time?" Jewel then replied nervously, "Well, the leader of the Babylon Rouges, Jet the hawk, took me in as his daughter when I was really little, I guess..." "What do you mean 'I guess'?" Aqueous asked. "Well, um, you see, I always thought he was my actual father." Jewel said while looking down at floor. "Okay..., who are the Babylon rouges?" Orchid asked. Jewel then said, "Well, they're a group of extreme gear riders that are decedents of alien/gene like creatures that crashed here a long time ago, there used to be a lot of them, but most of them were wiped out." "Why where they wiped out?" Aqueous asked, intrigued in the stuff that Jewel was telling him. "Legend has it that they angered the gods because they were always stealing, so their city was buried in the desert sand as punishment. Although, the present Babylon Rouges clearly haven't learned from their ancestors' punishment because their still thieves to this very day." Jewel explained. "Interesting... I always wondered what happened to those Babylonians." Aqueous said. "What's more interesting is the fact that I stole your wallet while you were dragging me in here and you still haven't noticed it's missing." Jewel said as she held the echidna's wallet in her hand. "Hey!" Aqueous yelled as Jewel gave him his wallet back. "As I said before, the current Babylon Rouges haven't learned from their ancestors crimes." Jewel said with a smirk. Aqueous and Orchid Just smiled and chuckled a bit. "So, do you want to do something else besides sitting on the couch and talking about-

(continued) -your foster family?" Orchid asked. "I don't know, would it be okay if I said goodbye to my foster family one last time?" Jewel asked her parents. "Lead the way, Ocean." Aqueous said as he handed Jewel her hover board back. Jewel then opened the door for her parents and said, "I'll try to go slow so you can keep up. And by the way, can you guys call me Jewel? It'll be way less confusing for me." Jewel said. Aqueous and Orchid looked at each other and then back at Jewel and said "Okay." Jewel nodded and said, "Try to keep up!" And flew off into the now setting sun. tell me if there's any spelling or grammar mistakes in there so I can fix them.
