It's only optional, meaning the species CAN be the name. It's the way you tell two of the same species apart. +Gender: Male, Female, Genderless. For some Pokemon, this will affect their appearance and evolutions. +Species: It's the species of a Pokemon. WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT FROM ME??! +Team: The team your Pokemon's on. They can also be a loner. +Formerly Human: The name explains it. This also mildly affects your storyline. +Special Trait: Here goes nothin'... Okay, so to explain this simply, a Special Trait is a skill a Pokemon possesses that its species doesn't usually have. As an example, Ash's Swellow is resistant to electricity. (Ash is nonexistent in this rp, though.) Try not to make it to OP. +Held Item: The item your Pokemon holds. This can be from any Pokemon game, whether it is from a main series game, or Mystery Dungeon exclusive. The item CAN be stolen or lost, but it can be regained later. +
