Chapter 1 Lizard was a nobody. His parents didn't care about him enough to keep him, they left him to die. They left him in the Black Sand Desert, death at his door. But he had to teach himself how to live. How to fight. How to plan. He never came into eye contact with a dragon ever, not of his childhood. Nobody ever came here. "What is the point of me? What's the point of my life?" he went on, speaking to the desert. "Why am I here! Nobody cares about me! I am all alone, and nobody gave me a small chance! Not even to live!" He fell to his knees, his small claws digging into the rubble sand. His eyes glowed yellow in rage. "SOMEBODY HAS TO PAY!" His little dragon teeth could never take on anything. He knew he was weak. And he was afraid. He knew he was special. But nobody ever saw what he could do. He didn't know the world like the rest of the dragons knew it. He only knew this barren plain of dark sand. "They will never know of my power! Because they left me . . . . left me here." A rabbit ran past, not even looking him in the eye. Animals even thought of him as low. He growled at it, making it jump, startled. It ran. "You better run!" The rabbit seemed to run faster at this. :My Power!: It only comes, then it is gone the next day. He knew what he had to do, with his power back for the day. "I am leaving this place! And I am going to the danger of the grown dragons." Chapter 2 Lizard stretched his wings in the air, diving down to the sea. Water! He almost never got that! He slurped up a fish. "MMMMMMM!!!!" He flew back to the beach, wandering around the place. There was a large mountain, with a cave carved on the side, and a palm tree forest on it's sides. It also had jungle trees, making the breeze smell fresh. It was the perfect temperature here. Then a vision struck: A blue and purple dragon in that cave with three guards on the outside. One of the guards went in the cave, then the next 2 went to the beach. The vision faded, but Lizard knew one thing: That was not near now. That was a rare vision. They where never put that long in the future, but he knew that in about 19 years that this place was important. So he carried on looking around. He went inside the cave. He needed to find why this place was important. He got struck in the head, and the world faded. But when he was almost down, he heard the strong words "We finally found you. You must be Lizard."
Chapter 3 He woke up, two strange dragons around her. They where colored of the forest, stripes of leaf patterns around their bodies. Healers. One of them looked at the other, and said "What do we do? Does he remember? Is he ok? How is he waking up so fast?" The other healer bolted back. "SHHHHHH". Lizard lifted his head up, but regretting it. He collared on the wood and feather bed. "Ow!" His head ached terribly, but he was suprized to find that he was not chained, cuffed, or restrained. "You where hit hard by one of the Underclaws." His head filled with questions. He started to say something, but the healer interrupted him. "The Underclaws are looking for loners who where abandoned or work alone. "Where you working alone?" He sighed. "No. My parents . . . ." his eyes got teary. What where his parents like? Where they good? :What if it wasn't their fault for putting me in the desert: Was that true? Could he really been loved by his parents? What if . . . . they got killed. They had to have been killed by "The Underclaws!" The healers looked strange at him. "That's why they knew my name! They had killed my parents!" His eyes faded to darkness. "They killed my parents . . . . and they are going to pay." Chapter 4 He flew fast, knowing he had no time to waste before the healers came with blow darts. What kind of dragon needs blow darts? But, he needed to focus on flying. He zipped through the forest, finding the ocean beach once again. "The cave!" He zipped through the entrance of the cave, knocking two dragons in the head. :These where the dragons from the vision! Steam and . . . . Ember?: He remembered why he had came out of the desert. :My power!: "What do you think your doing!" Said Ember, dropping the knocked out body of Steam. "What do you think your doing killing my parents!" He smashed his tail into his chest, knocking him into the back of the cave.He held his ribs for a second, processing the pain. "Your parents WHERE WEAK!" He got up and bolted into Lizard, knocking him off his feet. "I know who's weak!" He took in a breath. "The one that's fighting a dragonet out of all dragons!" He jumped up and landed on top of Ember. "I hear your little 'Underclaw' group killing of the dragons of this world. "Well, you are the one who has been mistaken. You don't mess with my family and you will never do it again!" He punched Ember and knocked him out but he was the key to finding the rest of his family . . . . and he had just blew it.
