(more info about my entry below, scroll down) Contest host: @telamonides Characters: Tintin and Captain Haddock from Hergé's Tintin comics/cartoons ...please tell me at least someone else knows them! At least look familiar? Ok, so I decided to do a combination of the two options! I made five rough sketches, then picked out one to finish. All the sketches were made originally on a single 1600x900 canvas Here's descriptions of the sketches: 1. no idea what possessed me to do this one, but I like the personality in it. I was remembering Tintin and Haddock's chant from Red Rackham's Treasure when they were dancing around :3 you know what I mean if you're a fan! 2. Simple sketch of Captain Haddock. For some reason, he's easier for me to draw than Tintin... Maybe it's cause his face shape is closer to the kind I'm used to? 3. Another Tintin, taking a bow. He's not easily recognizable when his little hair quiff isn't as visible though. 4. Walking Tintin, either observing a clue or artifact for an adventure or just checking his phone (depends on how you imagine Tintin's relation to timespace. imo he pretty much transcends it xD In the time he originally existed, cell phones would have been bigger than your head and as thick as a brick!) 5. Haddock stretching. I think his body should have been a bit larger (it's at about Tintin proportions rn), but didn't take the time to fix it. goshdarnit I just realized his right eyebrow is off ):<
