It's really not much. There was going to be a story in this so here it is. ===================================================== Thomas was built in 1915 at Brighton and worked as a station pilot for a few months before an order was placed by Sir Topham Hatt for an E2 numbered 107, but somehow Thomas, 108, ended up on Sodor instead. This was allowed and he started work helping build the NWR along with; the Red Engine, Clive, Neil and Matthew. The line was built and then he got his NWR blue livery and worked as a station pilot for a few years, and after helping James with his accident, got his own branchline. Then WWII came and Sodor was called to help fight. Thomas was used to transport munitions and war supplies. After the war a certain vicar started writing a series of books about these characters which became "The Railway Series". 37 years later, Thomas finally made his way to the silver screen and, over 30 years later, is still the world's number 1!
