Katsushika Hokusai is regarded as one of the most influential and creative minds in the history of Japanese art. His unique social observations, innovative approach to design and mastery of the brush made him famous in Edo-period Japan and globally recognised within a decade of his death. As part of our Digital Creatives program, students will look at some of Hokusai's colour woodblocks showcasing dancing and human movement, they will then bring some of these to life by creating their own, interactive, Hokusai inspired game - Dance, Dance, Hokuasi. This is the completed project. https://www.ngv.vic.gov.au/exhibition/hokusai/
