1a. The problem here is that the cyclist's brake wasn't trying to stop his fast speed. And yes, it's high speed not fast speed. So it should be worded like this: Trying stop his HIGH speed, THE CYCLIST QUICKLY LOWERED HIS BRAKE and the wheels slowed. 1b. Come on, this is self explanatory! It's that, not which. This is the one ingredient THAT is essential to the recipe. 1c. His views weren't opposed to the other person, his views were opposed to her views. It should be worded: His views on communism are opposed to HERS. 2. Did that above 3. Accentuating every curve, the dress shimmered with a peaceful but beautiful sheen. Rose gold complimented her flaxen ringlets of hair while diamond beads showered the plain fabric with elegant, crystalized embellishment. The soft zephyr rippled through silky material, floating it ever so slightly on a river of air. (You get the idea, just keep going on like that.) 4. For, and, yet, or, nor 5. B) Book 6. 7. On a wide, spiraling path twined around a precariously high mountain, a fawn wobbled forward, step after step, on tired limbs. Unforgiving nature pounded down on its trembling body as the cold air seemed to have a mind set on the goal of keeping the fawn from reaching safety. Stopping, the animal wearily raised its head to see a dark cave entrance, possibly its only hope of survival, then collapsed from exhaustion. Heavy snow pummeled the small body as it dragged itself towards the sanctuary and managed at last to reach its destination and fall unconscious. Inside the seemingly empty cave was a dragon who heard a small snore. Out of the pitch-black stone, the reptile's enormous head loomed out at the chocolate-colored heap of shivering fur and prodded the thing carefully. A squeal sounded before the little encroacher fell back into deep sleep. The dragon gazed down at the hapless creature, deciding that the fawn was far more worthy of life than the prey it usually hunted. Instead, the great monster curled its warm, serpentine body around the fawn's just as the poor animal woke. Trusting brown eyes searched the dragon's, then closed contentedly. The dragon's heart melted. It was no longer lonely. 10. Colorful, amiable flowers surrounded the inviting house, giving off an illusory glow of friendliness. Colors from a rainbow itself seemed to have personally showered the scene in brightness. Strangely enough, nobody seemed to inhabit the clean house disguised under a hill, though it looked like a fairy tale's first breath. Small unbroken windows peered at a stone path like playful eyes and the door looked as if it could swing open any second. Nobody who approached could call this house suspicious, even with its overly happy vibrance or abandoned insides. Ones who came before seem to have found themselves happy, and ones who come later should feel just as well.
