Snowfrost is Riverclan Deputy, and Stormheart is Windclan Deputy. They met one day by a border skirmish. Stormheart saw Snowfrost, and he looked into her eyes. The moonlight was shining onto her fur, making her look like she was glowing. He fell in love instantly, and she noticed by the look in his eyes that in his heart he was a true warrior. They began to meet, laughing, talking, growing to love one another. They became secret mates... Soul-bound. Then one day, a battle erupted within Riverclan and Windclan. They fought ferociously, although Snowfrost and Stormheart avoided one another. That was when Riverclan leader Ripplestar struck at distracted and surrounded Stormheart. Throat slit, Stormheart lay still in the starlight, his blue eyes wide and scared. His brown fur turned silver in the starlight, and Snowfrost ran to him. Tears in her eyes, she cried out for him, her once sleek and shiny pelt drooped and ruffled. Her ears flat against her head and her tail drooping, she hunched over her love, tears streaming down her face. "Snowfrost..." Stormheart whispered to her, his eyes filled with tears. "Don't you ever forget..." He began, his voice cracking. "The day I met you... It was true love. You...you were so beautiful, and I just hoped you would see me..." His voice was beginning to fade. "Then...then we began to meet, and I just...I can't describe it...I guess it was..." His eyes were dimming. "I-I..." His tail was drooping now, and his eyes were beginning to close. "I love you..." He whispered, his eyes fixed on his mate as he took his last breath, and then faded. Snowfrost watched as a big, beautiful star appeared in the night sky. Then, she began to sob continuously. "Oh...Oh Stormheart..." She whispered, her voice cracking. "How I love you..." She said softly, before staring up at the sky. "Why? Why would this happen? You can't do this to me Stormheart!" She yowled, her heart shattered. "No! I won't let you...No!!! Stormheart!" She yowled louder, her face soaked with tears. "Please..." She whispered, laying down beside her mate's lifeless body. "I will always love you, no matter what..."
