Description

✧ Welcome! ✧ Hi! Welcome to my Art Camp Portfolio! :-D This is where I'll be keeping all of my art for @ivypool2's Art Camp. Which, um.... makes perfect sense! xD Thanks so much to my cabin leaders, Lizzie (@LyricalGalaxy) and Wingy (@hotwings6) in advance! I'm a newbie at art.... so you kinda have your work cut out for you! xD Anyway, I've set this up so that it will (hopefully) make things easier on you two! :-) Just use the arrow keys to look through my assignments (there's only one right now xD). And I'll try to remember to post a little note for each one here, so that you guys know what I thought about the assignment, what I struggled with, etc. (idk if that's helpful or not, but I'll do it anyway xD) ✧ Assignment Notes ✧ Assignment 1: Um, first of all, sorry I took so long with this! xD I will try to be more on time for the other assignments. Second, I feel like I messed up on perspective. For example, I think her nose was tilted up too much. What do you think? And.... yeah, I know that the nose is bad in general. xD But at least I tried, right? Assignment 2- "The Intercessor": I drew this for the word illustration challenge, and I chose to illustrate @MintyBunBun's word, "gallant," which means brave, heroic, or chivalrous. When most people think of the word gallant, they picture a knight in shining armor, or a firefighter, or an early pioneer. But to me, the word gallant makes me picture something quite different. As a Christian, I believe that the natural world is only a part of reality; there is also a spiritual realm that we can influence by praying to Jesus. To many people, prayer is a ritual performed at mealtimes or bed time, but I've met too many prayer warriors to be satisfied with that definition of prayer. There have been times I've been so passionate about the people I was praying for, that I began to cry. So anyway, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it. :P Btw, I worked more on proper proportions this time, so I included an early version with the lines I used to place her features. (and sorry for being lazy on the hands! -_-) ~Mark 11:24~ "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." Assignment 3: Ok... I know. This is terrible. xD I am not good with architecture. Also, I apologize that this is so simplistic, but I had to babysit today, so I didn't have a lot of time to work on it. :/ Um... I guess I don't have much else to say. :P ✧ Credits ✧ ✑ Fonts: Amatic SC and Rock Salt, both from Google Drive ✍ Tutorials: I looked at @xXWouldBeNinjaXx's Vector Art Tutorial many times while making my art! It's an awesomely helpful tutorial, and I seriously suggest checking it out if you haven't already: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/103436385/
