Add your character, get rid of the guys you won't be fighting (unless your doing the elevated challenge, in which case you keep all the characters, but make them hidden). The maximum HP for you is 15,000. In Elevated Challenge, it is 25,000. But if it is over 10,000 in Elevated Challenge, then you can't heal after the fight.
