Thanks to Scratch-Minion The article is inside the project, but I put it in here anyway Early this morning, the scratch team anounced that they will be taxing people with atleast fifteen followers. After three weeks of a project being released, 5% of its views, loves, and favorites will be taken away. Decimals will be rounded. However projects with under 30 views after two weeks will become slightly more likely to show up as a search result. Also if a project with less than 30 views has atleast three loves and a favorite after three weeks then it will get become even more likely to show up as a search result. An unnamed person from the scratch team was quoted as saying"This is the first update in a series that will help less well known scratchers find a place in the scratch community." Contents of the future updates are unknown, but some people are saying that they will be featuring less known projects. Others say that they will create a new section on the homepage that will show good scratchers that don't have many views. The first update will be coming out sometime in early july.
