As some of you may know, my birthday is in June. But what many of you don’t know is that June is also the birthday month for my two best friends, Becky and Jimmy! In fact, all three of our birthdays are within 2 weeks of each other! And for many years now, we have celebrated our birthdays together. Which, given how close the three of us are, makes the celebrations all the more special <3 This year, I thought it would be fun to create a Scratch project as a sort of birthday card/present/thank you. But instead of making an animation on my own, I really wanted to include the community somehow. Especially since both Becky and Jimmy have sat with me for hours looking through adorable and inspiring Scratch projects — I think they would really love something that included members of the community. So I reached out to the community and 18(+) amazing Scratchers responded. And with that I present this multi-animator project done to the classic song “I’ll be there for you” by the Rembrandts — an adorable song about friendship (also, known to many as the theme song for the TV show “Friends” and, of course, a show all three of us love :P). Woooowwww! I'm am so impressed by all the animators that helped make this MAP possible! Everyone did such an amazing job, THANK YOU SO MUCH! I think Becky and Jimmy will love this <3 I had a bit of trouble with the project size so I ended up having to condense some images and edit a few of the parts a bit. I didn't change *too* much so hopefully you won't even notice. Because of this though, I recommend viewing each individual part so you can see how it was originally intended to be seen. Also, there are a ton of assets in here (952 to be exact). I'm hoping the project doesn't lag too much, but I've broken everything down using variables and broadcasting so you should never be too far off from where you are supposed to be.
